Rosario finish in the First National Women Lesbians and Bisexuals

On Saturday 3 and Sunday, May 4 was held in Rosario (Argentina) this first meeting that brought together more than 400 women across the country and some Latin American countries gathered to discuss their problems, share experiences, promote public policies and, most importantly, become visible. The first day activity started with an opening ceremony at 10 o'clock in the morning and throughout the day were workshops, panel discussions, cultural and recreational activities. After the 19 hours began a march that left the faculty of Engineering, where the meeting took place, until the National Monument to the Flag. The demonstration was riddled with colour, songs and painted street and reached its peak when arriving at the cathedral of the city, where singing their slogans and merged into kisses before the doors of the church. On Sunday the workshops began at 11 o'clock in the morning and evening took place on the whole. The visibility, the deepening of communication networks nationally and in Latin America, the need for progress in the fight for their rights and commitment to reunite in two years, were among the main conclusions that were felt at the close of event.
